CHIEF FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

We are a shari’a compliant financial institution regulated by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Saudi Arabia and are looking to expand our team currently comprising of individuals with significant investment management, deal structuring and execution expertise to generate propriety investment opportunities as well as providing advisory services to clients.

We are now seeking a Chief Financial Controller (CFC) who can demonstrate the ambition to work as part of the management team that will drive the business and realize our goal to become an established financial institution within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The CFC will be responsible for the corporate accounting and a direct link to the Board of Directors. The position is based in Jeddah and the CFC will report to the Chief Executive Officer directly.

Your key responsibilities will be to
• Drive the process to build the current finance function into a well established unit serving the management;
• Manage the finances of the company and associated entities;
• Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide the management team;
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports;
• Drive the strategic planning processes including budgeting, forecasting and long range planning;
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards;
• Manage the relationship with the external auditors;
• Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations;
• Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; and
• Ensure compliance with local reporting requirement.

Experience and Qualifications required
• 5+ years post qualified experience;
• Currently a CEO/Financial Controller;
• ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA / SOCPA qualified;
• An MBA or being already CME I qualified would be an advantage;
• Experience within the financial services industry is a pre-requisite; and
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
